Madeira is an autonomous region of Portugal. It is composed of 4 islands of the African coast near Morocco. Due to its warm subtropical climate, all kinds of flowers grow there all year round. These are both tropical flowers and flowers from cold regions.

This is how the “Flower Festival” is organised in Madeira every year. This event is a tribute to spring, it attracts a large number of tourists.

The Flower Festival is also an important cultural event. There are folk group shows, beautiful flower carpets, concerts, shows… Throughout the city.
